About Claudia
As I practice art therapy with adults and children in various populations, the age and stages of their conditions are sensitively considered. However, I intuitively guide them and support their efforts throughout the art process. Getting to know them, their unique personalities and challenges in life, opens the creative flow. I gage the progression of the work based on their personal capabilities and with positive input and encouragement observe them taking their creative expression to new heights that they never expected. I often witness a sense of pride, joy, and new found dignity as a result of being heard individually and in group work. Caring, compassion, and a wealth of materials can foster creativity, ingenuity and healing in any of the populations and conditions I have the privilege to work with. Families and caregivers are always welcome to participate.
