I provide the art and craft materials used in each session. The continued use of tactile and sensory motivating materials encourage creative freedom for clients new to the use of fine art tools and techniques.
The wonderful part of art therapy is the sense of accomplishment and empowerment the client demonstrates in their ability to fly freely with pride. I am grateful to witness this and participate in their new sense of being heard in the world that unfortunately does not always understand that it is not the finished product but the meaningful journey the person had in creating their artwork. It allows them to have choices in their lives so their imagination can soar!
